Are your courses accredited?

They are accredited with ABT & or CPD and are industry recognised and fully insurable. 

Are your courses Level 4?

Our courses are at the level 4 standard and equivalent to a vocational L4. 

Do I need insurance ?

Yes, insurance is required and we are partnered with Salon Safe who insure our beginners – advanced technicians for only £19p/m.

I’ve heard I need a license?

That’s right – it’s sounds scarier than it is!!! Your local council will need to come and inspect your working area to check that you are following a clinical concept such as sterilisation, clinical waste, hand washing sink in the room. They are very helpful and guide you with what is required to set you up professionally and with a good working ethic.

Do you offer finance?

We sure do! We use a third party finance company called Pretty Face Finance and you can spread payments over 9 months. 

Where are you based?

We are in a little village called Anstey, in Leicestershire – East Midlands. 

How many people do you train at one time?

On our semi permanent make up courses it’s maximum 4 students with 2 tutors on practical days. Facial courses are maximum 6 students. 

Do you offer 1-1?

Yes we do – please feel free to ask for more info.

Do you travel to salons or students?

We know how difficult it is to leave your business, family, commitments so we offer pop up courses where we bring the courses to you. 

Do you get a kit with the courses?

Beginner semi permanent make up & the beginner microblading diploma both come with starter kits. 

How long will it take me to be good?

You are learning a skill and that skill will take time, dedication, commitment and lots of practise. 

Do you offer post course support?

This is one of our biggest pros!! Our aftercare support is second to none … you can message us direct at any time, you can come back  whenever you need to at no extra cost to shadow or sit in on a training day again or to even bring a model back to the academy with you so we can help guide and reassure you. This is one of the most important things when looking for training as most of the questions and support you will need will be AFTER you leave the academy. 

Do you have parking?

We have a free car park right outside our entrance and ample on street car parking. 

Are there any hotels close to you?

We have a Premier Inn 5 mins drive from where we are as well as a handful of other hotels and B&B’s.

Do I need to find models?

We do ask that all students source their own models for the courses. The main reason being that they will then become your client for the top up & unfortunately our models are not always reliable. We are more than happy to try and help source models especially if you are coming from far afield.

What is the earning potential from doing a set of brows?

Everyone’s earning potential is dependant on what they charge but the average would be £230 after tools & consumables. *this is just an example and we can not be held responsible for anyone’s earnings. 

What can I progress onto from Brows?

Brows is a great place to start! From Brows you can then go onto lip blush, lash enhancement, scalp micro-pigmentation, areola and medical tattooing, facial aesthetics such as dermaplaning, Microneedling, chemical peels, injectables such as fillers, vampire facial, fat dissolving injections … the list is endless and it’s such a thriving industry to be in. 

I have no beauty background or qualifications can I still do your courses?

All our beginner courses are designed for anyone and everyone, no beauty background, qualifications or experience needed. All we ask is that you have a passion to succeed and you are ready to give your full commitment.

We are more than just a training academy, we are a passionate team that will not only give you the skills you need to carry out treatments but we will help guide you and push you to the limits you need to become successful. We are not a 1 in 1 out training academy, we stand our ground on quality over quantity. We specialise in what we do which allows us to give the best and most knowledgable support to all of our students. Our passion for the industry and passion to help others become successful is just as important as teaching a skill. 

How much can I charge for Brows?

Microblading depends on your skill and location – the average cost is anywhere inbetween £250 – £450

What qualification will I receive?

You will receive an industry recognised and fully insurable accredited diploma with CPD points.

How much will is cost me to set up?

The main outlay is the machine and pigments which for our beginner courses you will get anyway, the rest is mainly consumables such as aprons, gloves, masks, hairnets etc. You may need to purchase a couch, stool and trolley but these can be reasonably prices depending on where you get them from. Insurance is £19p/m and council license varies from £120 – £250.

What is the different between Microblading and Machine Brow?

Microblading creates crisp like for like hairstrokes and is performed with a handheld tool that etches pigment into the skin and the machine method is with a digital hand piece that is more gentle to the skin and can create many variations of brows such as hairstrokes, ombre brows, powder brows and combination brows. Machine also leads you onto further training such as lips, liner, scalp, medial and areola.

What are your Taster Sessions?

We know that investing into your future is not an easy decision and so we offer every month a free taster session where you can come and see us at the academy and talk to us about the industry, talk to a previous student, watch a demonstration, play with a microblading and machine and generally get a feel for what it would belike as as trained technician.
